Safety & installation

Our systems control building access and interact with doors and entryways. To keep them safe and lawful:

• Professional installation required. Systems must be installed and serviced by Shabbos Air Solutions or its authorized installers. Improper installation can create safety hazards.
• Not a life-safety or emergency system. Our entry system is not a fire alarm, security alarm, medical-alert, or emergency-egress system, and must not be relied on as one.
• Egress and code compliance. Installations must not impair required means of egress and must comply with all applicable building, fire, electrical, and accessibility codes, and with the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). Building owners are responsible for obtaining any required permits and approvals.
• Not a replacement for locks or security measures. The system supplements, and does not replace, a building’s required locks, security, and life-safety equipment.
• Performance can vary. Operation (including response timing) depends on installation conditions, maintenance, and proper use.

In an emergency, always use standard emergency exits and contact local emergency services.

Halachic certification

• Location-specific approval. STAR-K certification is granted on a per-installation basis. A general approval does not certify any particular installation; each completed installation receives its own separate letter of approval following a site-specific inspection.
• Consult your own rabbinic authority. Nothing on this site is a halachic ruling for your situation. For halachic questions, consult your own rav or recognized halachic authority.
• Routing of questions. Halachic concerns about a specific installation should be submitted through our ticket form so they reach the appropriate party.

No warranty

All content on this site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Any product warranty, if offered, is set out in a separate written agreement and is not created by this website.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIRPING LLC (dba Shabbos Air Solutions) and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on information on this site or from use or misuse of the system.
