Halachic Compliance
Shabbos Air Solutions’ pneumatic entry system is approved by STAR-K for use on Shabbos and Yom Tov, signed by Rabbi Moshe Heinemann, STAR-K Rabbinical Administrator.
Installed, certified, and trusted in the Miami, Williamsburg, Boro Park, and Crown Heights communities.
Visitor Procedure
The STAR-K letter specifies the steps a visitor follows to contact a resident.
Check that the green indicator light is on. If it’s red, wait a few seconds until it turns green.
Press the pneumatic button at the entrance for 2 seconds. This sends an air signal to the residence.
Wait for the resident to respond. Once access is granted, the air may take up to 10 seconds to travel to the front door before it unlocks.
Look for the confirmation strobing bulb, revealed for a few seconds, indicating that the door is unlocked.
Per-installation
For every finished installation, STAR-K conducts a site-specific inspection and issues a separate letter of approval. That letter is provided directly to the building owner and building management.
